Life in pictures!

Where are your pictures?

You know the ones, the kids, your parents, high school, the Prom, your kitchen makeover & the beach?

If you are super dooper and organized. they are all neatly labeled and in their appropriate album with captions or they are scrap booked into really sweet little books all with the same theme...

If you are like most of us (and I really do envy the organized people) they are all over the house... getting destroyed with each passing year.

Your pictures are your past...
do they really need to be stuck to the inside top of your junk drawer?

How about the ones in the plastic bags on the floor of your closet?

Did you ever find a proper place for all the pictures
your Aunt Sadie gave to you of your parents growing up?

Now is the time to do one thing...

Find a basket or a box around your home and gather ALL of your pictures and put them in one place.

We have some nice boxes at the shop but you can also use a shoe box or a nice rectangle basket.

One night turn the TV off, take your pictures that you gathered and take a trip down memory lane.

If you have pictures you want to give someone, put them in an envelope, pen a quick note and send them off. If you want to make an album of a certain theme then just divide the pictures with index cards until you have time.

If you have albums already waiting, then add the pictures to you albums
You don't need to be perfect!
You don't need to wait until you have the right box, the right album or even the right pictures... you have it all right there and now and NOW is the time to do it.
I am doing this too and man is it a BLAST!
I inherited my grandmas pictures and did not have a chance until now to go through them.
I smile, laugh, tear up and love the fact that my grandma just as myself kept history. Although not organized it is all here for me to take care of.
I found papers and clippings and pictures of almost every member of the family.
What a blessing!
I am also able to use photo boxes and label them with the theme and then store them away until someday I want to tackle them
Get to it and let me know via the blog how you are doing with your trip down memory lane!
