KISS DAY 9
SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE & ANIMALS NOT THINGS
Okay so right now you are reading this blog post... as soon as you are finished go find someone... anyone and connect with them. Ask them to stop what they are doing and make a real connection with them
Turn off the TV
Go for a walk, listen to music, dance, talk about good things, go for a ride on your bike, have a scavenger hunt, play a card game... feed a goat, walk the dog
There is so much to do with someone else and guess what?

The dishes will still be there when you get back and the computer will still have the same unopened emails too
When was the last time you slow danced with your husband?
When was the last time you baked cookies for your Uncle in the nursing home?
When was the last time you showed up unexpected at your friends home?
When was the last time you called your cousin 2 states over?
When was the last time you took the dog out for a REAL walk?
When was the last time you hugged your mom?
When was the last time you hugged your mom?
Remember that people & animals, not things matter and in the whole scheme of life all that really matters are the relationships we have with one another
Now go and have a meaningful conversation with another human being or animal LOL
Oh and if you have to, apologize first, it really is okay!

Patricia, your blog brought tears to my eyes. You are so right. I get so busy crossing things off my "to do" list, that I forget what's most important. I assume people know I'm thinking about them, but then another day goes by without making that phone call or visit. Thank you for your reminder.
