spray paint!
Look at how consignment shop finds become coordinated in my own home!
In the first picture the floral pictures were gold framed and did not match my "french country inspired" room
While I loved the pictures, I was not keen on the frame ...
So I painted them with black spray paint and then hung them (ever so crooked :) on my wall
A LITTLE IMAGINATION GOES A LONG WAY
In this next picture, I needed something for over my bed.
I took consignment shop 
purchased GOLD chargers and spray painted them black, then burgundy and then stenciled our initials on them in a muted green (all of these colors are in our quilt) I then glued a black ribbon on the back and hung them (ever so crooked :) on my wall
Even my husband commented on how nice they coordinate.
I guess I should have ironed the pillow cases... hopefully my mom won't see this blog!
