Do you really get new items in each day?

Yes, from the day we opened Oncore, we have gotten in at least one new item each day.

When do you have sales?

Oncore feels that everyday is a great day for a sale, but not everyday there is a sale. We price our items to sell quickly and we do not haggle price. Sales are on our whim... when we feel like doing it! When we have a sale, we do not fool around.
Stop by often because you just never know what you will find.

What is Oncore?

Established in 2006, Oncore is a mother and daughter run home consignment shop located at 474 N Main Street in Wilkes Barre PA featuring furniture, home décor and jewelry

Where do you get your merchandise?

Our large and ever growing list of consignors keep us well supplied with great items for you and your home. Our consignors come from every walk of life. You too can become a consignor at Oncore, ask us how!

When do you accept items on consignment?

Consignments are accepted anytime we are open. You do not need an appointment and we do not charge you a fee to consign with us. We ask that if you have large pieces of furniture that you call us for approval before delivery. Furniture must be from a pet free home and in excellent condition. Send us a picture via email or bring us a picture of the furniture you would like to consign.
There is no limit to the amount of items you may consign. We consign 1 or 100+ items at a time

Who sets the price for an item?

Prices are set by Oncore. If you feel an item is particularly valuable, you MUST bring it to the attention of the owner/manager. The decision of Oncore regarding pricing and acceptance is final. All items are researched via the Internet to find the best asking price. We are in business together and we will price your items as high as possible, yet still make them marketable.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY ITEMS HAVE SOLD?

Your account is credited weekly. You can call or stop by any time and we can tell you how much money is on your account. You may pick up any money on your account at any time or you may use it as store credit.
Amounts over $25 are paid by check.
We will mail checks by request.

What is your consignment procedure?

Items in excellent (clean and without flaw) condition are brought in for our consideration to be sold.
You will read and sign our consignment agreement and then we will go over each item, writing an itemized receipt as we go.
All accepted items remain on the sales floor for 60 days as noted on your intake receipt. Items will be reduced at the discretion of Oncore after 30 days.
You will receive 50% of the items FINAL selling price.
If items do not sell, you will then have 7 days from this date to reclaim your item.
If you choose not to pick up your expired items they become property of Oncore.
You may pick up your check anytime or you may use your account balance as shop credit as well.

WILL YOU ACCEPT EVERYTHING I BRING IN?

While Oncore is not a "high-end" consignment shop, we're committed to maintaining a higher level of merchandise within our boutique atmosphere. For that reason we are particular about the items we accept.
We have a preference for those items that are quality brand and trendy; styles that can be found in major department or brand name stores today.
Please bring in items that are clean, in shopping bags, totes, or boxes.

Can I have a few hints to better prepare my items for consignment?

It is the consignors responsibility to check all items for flaws.
A little attention before coming in may save disappointment at acceptance.
Cleanliness counts! Dusty, soiled, tarnished or stained items are not accepted!
Battery operated items must have batteries, lamps must have bulbs, shades and be in working condition. Linens must have measurements attached with an index card and safety pin

Do you have a list of items you do not accept?

Oncore does not have a specific list as most items are on a case by case basis. We base the items we accept on consignment on items which our customers request/trends/likeliness that the item will sell

Does Oncore accept Donations?

We do accept donations, we also accept charity consignment accounts.
A charity account is designated for a certain charity whereby all items brought in on this account are sold under the account and are designated for the account when sold under a standard consignment policy

Does Oncore support any local charities?

We consign unsold items for St. Joseph’s Center with all of the proceeds going directly to them once a year.
We donate our unsold jewelry to Wesley Village Activities Department to be used as prizes for games.
We also support Go Red For Woman through WBGH.
