Random thoughts on becomming a PICKER

Okay so you are asking yourself, what is a picker? I am sure any 8 year old could tell you their version of a picker but in order to be mature and direct, a picker is a consignor who shops tag sales, estates, flea mkts., church sales & clearance racks to name a few for cool things that can be resold at a larger profit at a consignment shop.We have several pickers at Oncore but we are always looking for more. If you love to shop the aforementioned sales and oftentimes pass up really awesome stuff because you personally don't need it then becoming a picker is what you need. Our pickers know what we are looking for based on what our customers are asking for. The picker then purchases items for pennies on a dollar and the consigns them in our shop. Most of our pickers use their money for purchasing items they can't live without at Oncore and still others choose to recycle their money and pick some more. For most of our pickers, it is the thrill of the hunt that keeps them going for us, we are able to "pay" them for items that our customers need/want/desire. It is a win win proposition.
So you think becoming a picker is for you? Stop by and talk to Patricia and you could be making money this week!

Ever feel like KILLING a picker? That's what someone did in The Picker Who Perished, a Too Good to be Threw Consignment Shop Mystery.

But who? Read this rollicking tale of a consignment shop owner, the sexy detective, and the antique dealer who may or may not be a killer.

If Patricia has sold out of her copies of The Picker Who Perished, you can order your directly from the author at http://tgtbt.com/wendysam.htm . The author will ever personally autograph it for you!
