Clutter-Less by the Holidays

Welcome to Oncore's Clutter ~ Less for the Holidays!
There are three things to do first
  • after looking around your home, make a list of everything you think you need to accomplish by Thanksgiving
  • throw the list away!
  • log on here each week for decluttering tasks that will take you from how your home looks now... to how it will look by Thanksgiving!

We are going to start in the heart of your home, the kitchen!

Do NOT I repeat do NOT start in any other room but your kitchen!

We are going to declutter your cupboards/drawers/closets or whatever else you have in your kitchen that is closed off from the rest of the world

I will declutter right along with you

Here are your tasks!

  • Declutter your Tupperware/Chinese food/cool whip container cupboard. Toss out all containers that are stained, cracked or missing lids. Then take a look at each container and decide if it really works for you? If it does not work for you, get rid of it! Don't worry about not having enough containers when you are done ~ toss out the ones that are not working for you and then find ones that do work!
  • Under the sink lurks the unknown & so too does the medicine cabinet in you kitchen... take time to carefully (check the manufacturers instructions on disposal or with your local pharmacy) get rid of any thing that is expired or never worked. Why are you keeping chemicals and or medications that don't work or that you don't intend to use? There is danger in holding onto these things.
  • Have you looked at your pot holders/cleaning cloths lately? Toss out all the oven mitts that are stained and all the rags that have seen better days. What else is in these drawers? If you are like me, you will find jewelry and change... you can keep any of the change you find but give the jewelry back to the proper owner unless you really like it.

That's it for now... in the next few days, I will add more tasks for you for your kitchen but this should give you a good start.

While you are free to continue on, once you completed the three tasks above, wait until we post again.

Oncore Annie!
