Okay... so my house is getting much better.
No where near what it needs to be but each day, I take some time!
I found a great thing to do while watching TV.
I took three laundry baskets and ran around the house collecting items that have trailed off the path.
While watching EXTRA I sorted through each basket into piles on the floor.
I had a black garbage bag for obvious garbage. I then had a pile for each room in the house. After EXTRA was over and I found out the latest Hollywood gossip, I ran around the house again, pile in hand putting the items back into their proper place.
I can honestly say that although the house is cluttered, it is now straightened and I would not be embarrassed to have someone unexpectedly ring the doorbell
Try my laundry basket hint... it only took about 45 minutes to complete this task! Best of all, I would have been sitting watching TV anyway!
